GIVE!
Not just to feed hunger but to end it.
Roti Bank - Taaki Koi bhookha Na Rahe
A report by the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) of 2013 stated that the emphasis of the SDGs should not be on ending poverty by 2030, but on eliminating hunger and under-nutrition by 2025. The clock is ticking fast! Our unanimous expansion of capital, can not sustain if the ones at the bottom of the pyramid do not even get two squares meal.
Our Story
It was back then in 2015, that a needy had come asking for a job to one of our founders Mr. Raj Kumar Bhatia. Due to the lack of requirement of human capital, he was denied a job. However looking at his condition, as the impulse goes, offering money seemed the only solution to help him for the time being. However, the beggar refused monetary help and said "Its not money, but roti, that can fill up my empty stomach". It struck us back then, that money might give them some short term assistance for a necessity, however, providing them with food would give them energy and power to work and earn their own money for securing their own food meals in the long run. Envisioning on this ethos, Roti Bank was founded ever since that day we hustle daily to provide the needy with food, wherever possible and whenever possible!
